Cliburn Competition

The postponed 8th Cliburn International Amateur Piano Competition is currently being held in Ft Worth. The following video is my Preliminary Round performance (October 12th, 2022).

In February of 2020, following an audition process, I was chosen to be one of 48 pianists to compete in the Eighth Cliburn International Amateur Piano Competition. Due to COVID-19, the competition has been rescheduled to 2022. The Cliburn Organization started a new series called "Cliburn Amateur Spotlight", to showcase the competitors. My contribution to this is the video below, where I am performing:
  1. F. CHOPIN Etude in F Minor, op. 25, no. 2.
  2. F. SCHUBERT Impromptu in E-flat Major, op. 90, no. 2

In 2016, I was chosen to be one of 75 pianists to compete in the Seventh Cliburn International Amateur Competition. Below video is my Preliminary Round Performance of:
  1. F. CHOPIN, Mazurka in C-sharp Minor, op. 6, no. 2
  2. RACHMANINOV, Prelude in C-sharp Minor, op. 3, no. 2
