Teaching Philosophy

My teaching philosophy is based on the idea that classes should provide both the students and the professor a medium to generate, share and transfer knowledge. Creating a common understanding on what this knowledge is, from where it is derived, and whether it is usable and useful is dependent upon the professor and the students. The theories and practical implications that are part of any class should be delivered in a manner in which the students can enhance their learning and creative thinking abilities, and can also learn from each others’ experiences. It is my responsibility and joy as a professor to create an atmosphere where the students can learn, use and enjoy the class.
